Suki was a Kyoshi warrior. Fierce and determined, she and her fellow warriors took down Aang, Katara, and Sokka. Sokka was quite skeptical and jeering about the whole "female warrior" stuff, and he asked Suki if she wanted to fight. In the end, he was humiliated. He then asked if she would teach him, and he showed good progress, and he, uh, grew in her favor.
They met up again on the way into Ba Sing Se. There Se inquired where Appa was. Finding out he was missing, she kept an eye out for him, found him, but so did Azula. They got into a great battle, and apparently Azula won, and she imprisoned Suki, at the Boiling Rock, where Sokka and Zuko discovered her and rescued her. She later saved their lives when Sozin's Comet arrived.
